The Registered Manager and Responsible Individual ensure the overall quality of the service provided, meeting regulatory requirements and establishing the operational strategy.
The service is overseen by qualified Social Workers who together have over 28 years of experience. The management team also includes a qualified nurse, meaning that the health and well being of our children and young people will always be paramount.
Additional staff will be present to ensure 24 hour a day support. Specific staff with appropriate skills will be present as needed dependent on the precise needs of the young people currently being accommodated. At all times, there will be a minimum of one member of staff onsite.
All staff recruited will have passed enhanced DBS checks and will have training and experience appropriate to their responsibilities. Each member of staff will be working towards a minimum NVQ Level 3 with the opportunity to go beyond this to Levels 4 and 5.
An in-house training program will ensure a continual opportunity for staff to refine existing skills and develop new ones. Training will encompass mandatory aspects as well as other areas that will contribute to staff’s personal development goals.
